I thought I’ve fixed my gaydar…or probably it was never really fixed in the first place. My boss hired a new girl to help me out with my project last week (what’s with him hiring an all girls team and calling us Superwomen??) and I got to meet her on the 5th day since she started working (I’m never in the office by the way). First impression was – she’s freaking familiar! She stikes me as this super smart woman in her mid 20s, hot and sexy. I was mostly attracted to her brains, metaphorically speaking.
So, I shook myself out of it and went in for an update meeting with my team. What blew me away was we had such good chemistry! Very good sense of business and we agreed on both of our ideas! – I thought it was gonna be the “cat-fight” thingy where she thinks she’s the best and the project lead (me) is a loser because she exude the woman power aura. I was so WRONG! LOL!
Gosh, it was hard enough to concentrate on the meeting with me worrying about the other jobs stuff and she made it worst as I was staring at her constantly in awe. I think I just had a major crush on her…OMG, please help me, she’s a colleague! Come on!!
Questions like “is she straight?, is she gay? is she single? i hope she’s into women” that sort were running in my head throughout the entire meeting. I so wanted to slap myself out of it LOL!
Sigh..I can’t tell if plays for the same league as I am or not. A friend suggested that I ask her to hangout with my friends (PLUs) during the weekend and she what her reaction is. But..but..it’d be weird eh? I only knew her like 2days ago and there I go asking her to hangout with MY friends! I’m not sure..I think I’ll see how it goes first.
